My focus over the past 15 years has been on improving businesses' performance through leading highly complex transformation initiatives and implementing added-value mechanisms i.e. Project Management Office (PMO), IT Portfolio Management (PPM), Enterprise Architecture (EA) and IT Service Management (ITSM).
My recent roles and accomplishments include:
- Transformation of an Engineering group into and ITIL-based Application Management capability addressing the people, process, organizational and technology factors. Projected benefits included increased cross-functional collaboration, severe organizational tensions fixed and acceleration of service delivery time by 2 months.
- Improving the performance of a PPM capability through the implementation of the Concept of PPM Organization (PPMO). Projected benefits included improvement of coordination and collaboration at a global scale, increase of ROI by 35% in 2 years and reduction of TCO by 25% over 2 years.
- Accelerating Time to Market of global firms through the implementation of strategic level PMOs
- Providing major firms with First to Market advantages through delivering ahead of schedule and under budget complex IT initiatives
My mantra is, software and technology whatever their sophistication, cannot substitute all the interactions, consensuses, coordination, commitments and policies required to extract value from IT capabilities. What's need is a balanced approach that smartly combined the people, process, organizational and technology dimensions of businesses.
